Workshops

Be part of the Magic!

I love teaching metal clay and enamelling. It’s a real privilege to be able to impart knowledge on to others. I still get a thrill from seeing the pieces that have been created at the end of a workshop, and from the excitement and sense of achievement that my students have. Metal Clay is fun to learn, and fun to teach too!

Whether you are a complete beginner wanting to try out the exciting medium of metal clay or you want to improve your existing skills, there is something for everyone. Learn specific techniques, make a project or maybe get enamelling, if you don’t see the workshop you want then I will create a tailor made course just for you.

If you are interested in a one-to-one or two-to-one workshop in Hastings please contact me to discuss availability! 😀

Please note we have a large friendly long haired cat who sometimes like to supervise what is going on in their home and to say hello to visitors! My workshop is up a flight of stairs and the toilet is on the ground floor so is unfortunately not suited to anyone with mobility issues.

Where am I?

My base in Hastings, East Sussex, UK, is ideally placed with good transport links and is very accessible to those travelling from around the UK and from abroad.

From London there are direct train services from Charing Cross and Victoria, and a one change service from St Pancras. There are also direct trains from Brighton and Ashford International. If you are flying in to the UK there is a direct train link from Gatwick airport, and it is only a one hour drive from the Channel Tunnel. Hastings is a lovely historic seaside town, one of the oldest British fishing ports with the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in the UK. The town is also home to the Hastings Comtempory Art Gallery. There are many delightful B&Bs and hotels. Tripadvisor is a good place for finding accommodation and please ask me for any extra information.
