About Me!

I love colour and I love texture. These two things inspire most of my work. To see a rainbow will always bring a smile to my face. I try to be - Joy by name and Joyful by nature.

Hi, I'm Joy! Metal clay artist, enameller, teacher and generally happy person. My work is known for it’s fun, vibrant colours - Joyful Jewellery! I am passionate about creating and I love teaching others the wonders of using metal clay and adding colour with enamel. Fun jewellery, fun workshops.

I'm also an editor with Creative Fire, an online magazine dedicated to needs of metal clay lovers. Pop over and sign up for projects, tips and information - no catch, it's all for free!

I create one-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces. You can buy my work direct from the website shop and also at the fairs I attend.

I teach from my base in Hastings, UK, and around the world. If you can't get to a workshop I also have online workshops. Find out more about my teaching on the Workshops page.

I'm a Senior Art Clay Instructor and a Craftsman of the Guild of Enamellers - oh...and I love my job!! :D

I am delighted to announce that my necklace 'Precious' has won the Grand Prix Award in the Silver Accessories Contest 2015 in Japan. How exciting is that!! Click here to see all the award winning work!
